Probate Plus provides each matter with two 'Notes' areas which can be used in a variety of ways:
To open the Notes page go to the 'Home' menu and choose 'Notes for this matter'.
Why you might use either of these areas
1. To jot down notes relating to this specific matter. For your own or colleagues' reference, internally within your firm. i.e. reminders about things to do, why something has been entered in a certain way.
2. To create a new document for external reporting to clients. e.g. notes relating to the matter which need explanation in a page to be bundled up with the final set of accounts. Some, for example, use it as an area to summarise the contents of the Will.
Once created, go to 'File...Print...Select some reports to print' to print either of these pages on its own or to insert them into a larger bundle of reports.
